National Safe Schools Week is October 21 to October 27, 2007!
National Safe Schools week is just around around the corner! This year, we are asking each of our partners to create a Safe Schools Week Bulletin Board promoting the 1-866-SPEAK-UP hotline at their schools and community centers. We hope that you will take this opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of violence prevention and SPEAK UP. Email a photo of your bulletin board to speakup@paxusa.org and we will post it on our website!
Also, please visit safeschoolsweek.org to download our brand new Safe Schools Week Event & Activities Planning Guide! This guide will provide you with concrete suggestions for events and activities you can plan during Safe Schools Week that will get everyone in your community thinking about violence prevention. Safeschoolsweek.org also has tons of other downloadable materials to help make your Safe Schools Week easy and fun.
