New novel to benefit PAX's lifesaving mission

Singer, songwriter and playwright Taylor Barton has dedicated the proceeds of her new novel, Hotheaded Saints, to PAX / Real Solutions to Gun Violence.

A longtime friend of PAX, Barton offered her support so that more Americans can benefit from the public health and safety messages of PAX's ASK (Asking Saves Kids) and SPEAK UP campaigns.

Hotheaded Saints is a fiery, rip-roaring ride through Long Island, New York's overwrought Hamptons; a kaleidoscope of the Bonnackers verses the A-listers. Hotheaded Saints exploits long buried injustices and the inexorable flow of a history that creates a tableau of epic tragedy.

Praise for Hotheaded Saints:

"Mystery, Mayhem and humor ensue in Hotheaded Sain... A wonderful escape."
Adriana Trigina, best-selling author of Big Stone Gap, Lucia, Lucia and
Roccoco

"Revealing, dark and hopef... Compelling and fascinating."
Rosanne Cash, singer-songwriter and author of Bodies of Water and Penelope Jane

"Taylor Barton's exceptional debut novel explores, in stunning prose, the cutthroat and catty world of artist rivalry; and family wreckage caused by drug-induced insanity. Although Hotheaded Saints is fraught with a myriad of inner and outer demons, at its core lies a transformative faith in the healing powers of destiny."
--Martine Bellen, author of Vulnerability of Order

Hotheaded Saints is available at www.iuniverse.com, www.taylorbarton.com,
www.amazon.com, www.bn.com or by phoning 1-800-Authors. Proceeds from Hotheaded Saints will support PAX's efforts to prevent gun violence among children.

ASK (Asking Saves Kids) Holiday Campaign

This Holiday Season, as kids are more likely to be playing in other homes, please ASK if there is a gun where your child plays.

We are offering newly designed holiday posters and brochures and hope that you can share them with your community during the upcoming holiday season.

The brochures are two-sided and contain the poster image (right) with "tips for asking" on the back.

Also, consider including ASK in an article or ad in your newsletter or local newspaper. Or put an ad on a wall or billboard by contacting your local outdoor advertising firm.

Since we are producing a limited amount of the posters and brochures, we can only process requests on a first come, first serve basis. Contact us at ask@paxusa.org to order materials for your community!
