ASK Day 2008
One Simple Question, Thousands of Reasons to ASK

ASK is collecting pledges from parents across the country and we need your help!

PAX will provide pledge stickers and reminder magnets to organizers and partner organizations to distribute to parents in their communities. The pledge reads “I ASK FOR ________.”  Parents can fill in the blank with the name of their child — reminding them that their kids are the number one reason to ASK.

Over the next month, collect as many pledge stickers as possible in preparation for ASK Day -- June 21, 2008. 

Use all the collected pledges to spell out "ASK" for display at your organization, local hospital, mall or other high-traffic area in your community.  

How To Get Involved:

1. Set a goal for the number of pledges you want to collect and email the number to ask@paxusa.org by June 1.

2. ASK will send you pledge stickers, magnets and brochures free of cost.  When someone signs a pledge, you can give them a brochure and a magnet so they always remember to ASK.

3. Make a plan to collect pledges. Please click here for ideas.  

4. Display your pledges proudly in public on ASK Day.  Combine this element with any other activities you may be doing, like flower planting or parent workshop.  Please click here for display ideas.
