On February 23, 1997, musician Matthew Gross and his loved ones had their worlds turned upside down when he was critically wounded in a shooting rampage atop the Empire State Building.
On February 23, 1998, they resolved to make good come out of their tragedy by launching PAX / Real Solutions to Gun Violence, a nonpartisan nonprofit that gives all Americans practical solutions to prevent gun violence tragedies in their homes, schools, and communities.
On February 23, 2008, PAX will celebrate its 10th anniversary, the thousands of lives it has saved, and the inspiring strength and courage of Matt Gross.
